Happy Birthday

How many have ever taken the time to read what our Charter says? Its a document written in a style thats hard to read anyway so we tend to take for granted that it gives us the authority to meet as Masons. You can read it here, retyped in regular form so it is easy to read.

What it tells us is that a dispensation to assemble was granted on December 30, 1959 and then on April 25, 1960 a Charter was issued naming Jack Franklin Manning as Master, Paul William Bundy, Senior Warden and Guy McClure, Jr. as Junior Warden by the Most Worshipful Grand Master of Masons in Arizona, Leland D. Wilson. So next month on Saturday, April 25th we will celebrate 60 years as a lodge. Maybe its time for a birthday party.
